Try and find Huckleberry Finn before it was edited last year. Visit a used or independent bookstore. If you decided to read this masterpiece, read the prologue and epilogue. So many people by-pass it, believing it’s a waste. It’s there for a reason. It’s there to shade light on the author, his life, and his perspective on the world. We all know or have met people like the characters in his stories. Denying this would be unjust.
