I took this photo of carrots at Fair Food Trust Farmer’s Market in the Reading Terminal Market. From right to left on the top row: rainbow, purple, and orange carrots; bottom row from right to left: rainbow, maroon, and orange carrots. The dark carrots are sweeter and higher in antioxidants than the other carrots, however, they have the same amount of as orange carrots. No, they’re not genetically modified.
